Seven centuries in the heart of Canterbury
From the Housemaster
Mr Singfield
As Housemaster of Meister Omers, I have the privilege of leading a community built on trust, kindness, ambition and belonging. My role is to ensure that every pupil feels supported, challenged, and celebrated: both in their day‑to‑day life and in their wider journey through the school.

I work closely with mentors, families, and staff to create a house environment where pupils are encouraged to grow into confident, resilient and considerate young people. Whether guiding academic progress, supporting wellbeing, nurturing character, or championing involvement in sport, the arts, and co‑curricular life, my aim is to help every individual flourish.

Meister Omers is more than a house, it’s a home. A place where pupils look after one another, take pride in their achievements, and contribute to a vibrant, uplifting house spirit. As Director of Sport, I also encourage pupils to embrace healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and the joy of competition, ensuring that physical activity plays a meaningful role in their development.

Together, we strive to make Meister Omers a house where every pupil feels known, valued, and inspired to be their best.
