Morning Routine Monday – Friday

 

All pupils in 6b, 5th form, Removes and Shells woken up by Jane/Denise at 7.20 and must all attend breakfast

 

All boys must be out of bed by 08.00, Boys should be in uniform, bed areas should be tidy, and downstairs by 08.15.

 

If pupils are unwell - they must see Jane or Denise (duty matron if they are off duty). Pupils cannot sign themselves off lessons or games or activities.

 

Duties – Shells and Removes to do duties as detailed on the rota

 

Morning Roll call or Tick off – 08.15- 08.25 in the common room

 

Phones – Boys in 5th, Remove and Shell need to hand their phones into the cupboard before they leave the house. They can get them back at 17.00.

 

Assembly - 8.35 in Shirley Hall as per weekly rota

Lessons start at 09.00

 

Morning Routine Saturday

 

All pupils in 6a, 6b, 5th form, Removes and Shells woken up by Jane/Denise at 07.50 and must all attend breakfast

There will be room inspections at 08.35

Boys should be in sports kit, bed areas should be tidy, and downstairs by 08.45.

 

If pupils are unwell - they must see Jane or Denise (duty matron if they are off duty). Pupils cannot sign themselves off lessons or games or activities.

 

Duties – Shells and Removes to do duties as detailed on the rota

 

Morning Roll call – 08.45- 08.55 in the common room

Evening Routine

Evenign Roll Call or Tick off 18.50

​

Prep- Monday – Friday 19.00- 20.30.

​

There should be no unnecessary moving around the house.

Music only allowed with headphones

No cooking/use of the kitchens is permitted.

Computers must be used only for academic work and can be confiscated for improper use.

Leaving the house during prep needs permission from the tutor on duty.

Anyone returning after 19.00 must report back to the tutor on duty and sign back in.

 

There is no formal prep on Saturday & Sunday nights.

 

Mobile Phones / smart watches / iPad’s / laptops – are not be used after lights out. Shell, Removes and Fifths have to hand all their phones, iPad’s and laptops in 15 minutes before their bedtime into the cabinet. If they do not bring it down themselves then they do not get it back for the following two days.

• 21.45 pm Shells

• 22.00 pm Removes

• 22.15 pm Fifth Form

• 22.30 pm 6b

• 22.30 pm 6a​

These are lights out times – no talking 10 minutes after lights out.

Late leaves must be requested from the tutor on duty.

No cooking after 21.30.

No computer use from 15 minutes before bedtime.
